Hi, I’m Rainbow Willard—a multidisciplinary artist and educator living in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge. My work spans painting, drawing, and mixed media, where I layer color, light, and texture to create still lifes, landscapes, florals, and surreal imagery.

I’m drawn to the way art can both delight and challenge—how a single image can spark joy, curiosity, or quiet reflection. In my studio and in the classroom, I encourage that same spirit of exploration, helping others see beauty in the overlooked and meaning in the everyday. Whether it’s a delicate botanical study or a playful twist on memory, my work is rooted in observation, imagination, and the stories objects hold.
